Amazon API Gateway is a fully managed service that makes it easy for developers to create, publish, maintain, monitor, and secure APIs at any scale. APIs act as the "front door" for applications to access data, business logic, or functionality from your backend services. AWS Site-to-Site Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections can be moved from a virtual private gateway to an AWS Transit Gateway without having to make any changes on your customer gateway. Transit Gateways enable you to easily scale connectivity across thousands of Amazon VPCs, AWS accounts, and on-premises networks. Finally, visit the VPN Connections section on the left, and click the Create VPN Connection button. In the dialog that results, select the virtual private gateway (vgw) and the customer gateway that you have previously created. You can refer to the previous screens if you do not remember what these identifiers are. We want to use an optional Amazon VPC VPN connection that links our network to Amazon VPC virtual private cloud (VPC). A customer gateway is the anchor on the outer side of that connection. It can be a physical or software appliance.
